Don PX 1946 Montilla-Moriles Pedro Ximénez

Dark and oily. Fig and molasses. Earthy flavors with treacle. Coffee and wine. So complex and savory. Gorgeous

I don't even know how to describe this. 1946 vintage - at 70 years the texture is like no other dessert wine i've ever had. Almost like a very high end balsalmic, but born from grapes.

A legend holding its own, without doubt offers a high note that sets it apart from other great Toro Albala vintages.

Oct 29th, 2017The best PX I have ever had. The flavor profile was beautifully complex and seemed never ending. It was bursting with orange, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg.
