2013 opened June 2021 I’m surprised that most of the reviews of this wine are on the mediocre side. Of course, it’s a crianza so it doesn’t have that oaky astringency that the reservas have. Pomegranate and olives on the nose. Pomegranate on the front. Smooth tannic structure that’s a little heavier than most Riojas I’ve encountered. Mineral finish. This is by no means a complex wine, but it’s simplicity makes it honest and enjoyable.
