Albada Viñas Viejas Garnacha

I've had better grenache, but not the worst wine ever.

Yummy

Blackberry, raisin, and currant on the nose. Sweet, juicy, fruit forward. Bright and acidic. Strong fruit jam sugars up front with light body.

Red, very wine-esque! Taste like is was made from fermented grapes. Highly recommendable.

Harvested from small parcels of Garnacha older than 35 years old, grown on the slopes over 1km high.
Opulently fruity, spicy, full bodied, warm, ripe Blackberry, Plum aromas.
14.5%ABV

Well rounded. Tasty tannins start with fruity middle, rolling to tobacco/hint of chocolate finish. I enjoyed it on its own as well as paired with salmon. Not long finish, but left me wanting to sip more.

Smells like Tempranillo mixed with nail polish remover but tastes better than that. Taste is decent for a cheap wine but the operative word is cheap

Good and cheap for sharing...Safeway?

Interesting and drinkable but a little too sweet for me. Red cherry is a good description.
