Interesting in that it is light, dark fruit. Juicy and tannic with a medium rinsing body. Great with tapas.

Single varietal Monastrell from the Yecla DO in south east Spain. Generous blackberry nose with chocolate, baking spices and some minerality. A not-unpleasant bitterness hangs around on the finish.
