Bodegas Señorío de Barahonda
Barrica Monastrell Syrah
Good acidity. Leather, foxy, gamey, campfire, marshmallow, cherry. Loads of complexity. Great value!

Dec 14th, 2018Blueberry, roasted meat and finishes with some dark chocolate notes. Not the most complex wine, but there's still a lot going on here to keep it fun and interesting. It finishes a bit thin though. Terrific QPR. Got it for $11.

May 3rd, 2016Great wine. Medium bodied. You can definitely taste the blackberries and the oak. A subtle fruity and "sweet" taste.

Dec 14th, 2015The longer we let it sit the more it opened up; it was surprisingly smooth considering the 14.5 on the alcohol. It was very interesting to have the Monasteell as the lead grape, as it is usually it's a supporting grape.
