Good acidity. Leather, foxy, gamey, campfire, marshmallow, cherry. Loads of complexity. Great value!

Remember this being okay, but clearly not that memorable.

Remarkably good for an inexpensive wine. Very drinkable without food. Good mid-week/everyday bottle.

Blueberry, roasted meat and finishes with some dark chocolate notes. Not the most complex wine, but there's still a lot going on here to keep it fun and interesting. It finishes a bit thin though. Terrific QPR. Got it for $11.

Great wine. Medium bodied. You can definitely taste the blackberries and the oak. A subtle fruity and "sweet" taste.

The longer we let it sit the more it opened up; it was surprisingly smooth considering the 14.5 on the alcohol. It was very interesting to have the Monasteell as the lead grape, as it is usually it's a supporting grape.
