Ramón Bilbao is one of my favorite Bodegas from Rioja. Expressive aromas of ripe dark and red fruit, dry roses, vanilla and hints of cedar. On the palate feels silky and a bit oily. Gentle tannins with flavors of dark cherries, ripe plum and delicate earth and wood notes. Beautiful red brick color to it.
