Wow. Brilliant. Confectionary, lemon curd nose with pineapple, white flowers, iodine and cotton candy wrapped around a mineral spine. Some vanilla and oak and a salty, gingery finish. Rich, round body and the length of cru burgundy. This bottle less than $30? Sick.

An extra year of bottles age has made this more refined. Terrific with garlic shrimp. Still tart and saline. Terrific QPR.

I find this (Godello grape) 3rd wine of Rafael Palacios fabulous, and besides very much value for money! The 2nd As Sortes also fantastic, but the 1st Sorte o Soro not worth the money and not really better than As Sortes!
