Perhaps a bit more generous for near term drinkinh than the seleccion familiar, at the moment. This shows similar complexity in a slightly lighter/extract style. Perfumed, floral, stony and quite long on the palate.

Branching out a bit with my first taste of a Mencia. This wine is dark and inky in color with oak and cherry on the nose. Still a bit tight, but the palate is so tantalizing I'll go ahead and overlook that. I get spiced meat, cherry, pepper, and raspberry. Eager to try again with a few more years behind it.

I found this #mencia to be truly unique. Many people think that #oldvines dont make a difference, but they do. Elegant and expressive. #wineoftheday

Capa y densidad alta, color violáceo, en nariz, cacao, fruta negra madura, tabaco y cuero. En boca potente, denso, paso amable y final largo y bastante cargado de madera... Buena rcp
