Tinto de pais - wine of the country. This Rioja is from Basque. Rioja is a del Valle region. Smells strong and sweet, long lasting, slightly airy and acidic, has a oak flavor (means this is from a new oak barrel). Tastes strong, acerbic, pretty soft.
