Reminds me of when I was a kid and would shove the entire contents of a mini box of sun maid raisins into my mouth at once. This is like that, not only in flavor but also in texture. #sunmaid

Dark and opaque in the glass. Deep purple with dull, water sheen on surface. Rim has a minutely brown hue.

Aromas are hints of table Pepper, subtle cinnamon, black berry and baked flour (fried tortilla)

It's smooth and long finishing. Plums and wild black berries, to the bitter seed. A little raisiny. Somewhat overripe component. Not a lot of acidity, so the flavor comes a little quicker. A good bottle. Probably had more life when first released. Opened 10/16/15

Was decent upon opening, but after spending two days in the wine fridge, recorked, and accompanied by spicy food, it was delicious. Less acidic than many Iberian wines.
