Rich, lush, velvety. Not shy on alcohol but well integrated.

Strong funk after opening leading to toasty oak. After 1/2 hour or so it started revealing tobacco, herbs, black and red fruits in liqueur. Coffee and dark chocolate also. Creamy vainilla on the palate with a strange, stewed tomato component. This is a dense wine with fresh med + acidity. It felt a bit disjointed and may benefit from some cellaring as the tannins take a hold and struggle to let u go. Not my type of wine but i understand the appeal now.
