Let this big boy open up a bit and have an aged steak handy for maximum enjoyment. Dense dark wild berries, licorice, mint and pepper in that order.

Fruit forward with classic Rioja flavor, but without being a fruit bomb, nice crisp tannins on the finish. Let it decant for -45 minutes to open up, before that the alcohol and tannins take it over.

A nice half bottle at Alcazar Tapas loaded with fruit and enough structure to stand up to patatas bravas.

a lot of new oak vanilla and coconut, dark ripe fruit with a leather and smoky finish

Dark ruby /brick in color , and cloudy.

Sweet on the Nose, with earth, mushrooms, currants , allspice and pencil lead.

Semi dry on the Palate, with dark fruits, cherries, currants, wood, vanilla and forest floor.

Long finish with tart cherry and spices.

Medium to bold in body with soft tannins.

It was much Better with steak.

70% Tempranillo, 20% granacha, 7% Mazuelo and 3% Graciano.
Aged in oak for 24 months and then, 12 months in the bottle.
