Absolutely stunning from the cristal clear dark ruby, subtle, but flirty nose, to the rich, red fruit balanced with formal tannins, and a dash of cassis.
The incredibly silky descent, and long, beautiful aftertaste must have the Vega Sicilia family on edge. They simply cannot deliver this craftsmanship at this price.

This started out very closed, but opened up beautifully. Unfortunately our meal was spice heavy and killed most of the wonderful flavor in this wine.
