Priorat has been one of my favourite appellations although I've been quite disappointed with the recent releases. Great Priorat at this price point is getting harder to find, but not impossible. Oak, leather, dried herbs, and mineral. Big, full body with smooth tannins.

Blueberry jam, christmas spice, anise, red tea, figs. Savoury on palate, med+ body, good intensity. Carignan stands out on palate. Dry finish.
