Surprisingly for a 2006, it still had nice body to it. Bought this on a close out for under $10 and it was showing very well with little time to breathe. Peppery dark berry fruit, tight tannins, dry finish. Good all around vino especially with the upcoming July 4th weekend.

Lovely. A bit of charcoal, a bit of blackberry, dry finish, but very little tannin. Quite nice with a roaring fire.
