This gorgeous Spanish gem exhibits a lovely golden colour with an herbal nose hinting at notes of fresh cut grass and tropical fruit. The palate is lighter than I usually prefer but provided a well balanced showing of gooseberry, grapefruit with slight saline flavours. It paired well with scallops on a bed of sautéed leeks.
