I love Juan Gil's silver label but this one was so raisiny and pruney that it was almost drinking like a sweet wine.

A great Spanish blend of 60% Monastrell, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

On the Nose, blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, wood, wet stones, fresh flowers, spices and black pepper.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant with long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, blueberries, figs, alcohol, black currants, vanilla, milk chocolate, coffee, Carmel and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft round tannins.

Beautiful, complex red blend, Still young, but is already experiencing wonderful attributes.

Each varietal was fermented individually in small barrels, then followed by malolactic fermentation in new French and American oak barrels. Aged for 18 months, then blended and let rest for an additional month.

15.5% Alcohol by volume.

Surprised how much I love this wine! Delicious blackberry and smoke with subtle hints of tobacco. Very smooth and easy drinking. Can't wait to get more!

A Monastrell from Jumilla which I always enjoy. 18 months in oak. Very hot and dry aromas in the nose, sour red fruits, Black Forest berries, handful of nuts, jam. Very nice acidity and tannins, could still wait couple of years and age beautifully

So much going on. Black licorice, strawberry /cherry preserves, black tea for days, sweet spices galore. Hot but not overwhelming.

Such a beautiful blend! Paired well with lamb chops. I'm a new fan of Juan Gil and can't wait to buy a bottle to drink at home.
