Another funkster. 2012 and with little chance for positive evolution.

This wine displays a deep ruby to purple color with medium tears and body. A fruit forward nose of red berries and black cherries, also some dried rose petal and violet notes. Definitely a modern wine on the palate, deep fruit , pronounced oak, but some clean minerality that only northern Spain could produce. Nice tannins--could benefit from another year or two in the bottle.

I think is better than what other reviewers. Agree, it is a young wine and not as full bodied as I expected from Ribera Del Duero. Still a good wine at a good price.
