Pretty, pretty label. Eye catching. And screw top is nice. Dark with a rusty edge. Smells a bit funky. Earth, herbs, ground. Pine cones? Little bit of elderberry. Flavors are meaty and tasty. More berries. Like really good blackberry and licorice. All sorts berry flavored. This is not as inky and bowl you over as some high altitude Spanish Granacha is, but it’s got plenty of acid and hits the right tones everywhere. Very likable.
