May 10th, 2017This was great on release, but has been in decline ever since. Nowadays it's merely 'good', maybe even average.
Espresso, walnut, raisins, cocoapowder, spicy beefstew. Is turning into something Grenache-y: alcoholic sweetness and warmth (spicy cherry cobbler), forgettable mid palate, short finish.
Bummer.
Getting worse during the evening. Falling apart. Downrated.

Oct 6th, 2016Finished Xmas-diner-preparations... Some logs burning in the fireplace, feet on the table. Plunged a warm, plush, ripe, velvety piece of comfort-wine in a glass.... Ahhh, lovely!!! Happy holidays to all of my fellow wine-geeks!
