Little smoky finish. Medium body. Some fruit notes too. Would be unreal with red meat

Stew and some great bread and this wine.. Perfect . Opened 4 hrs prior.

SAQ 24$ 100% Mencia Very interesting, complex, dark fruits, cherries, a hint of licorice. Très long en bouche. Not the best with tomato-based sauce ( tannins are rougher) but should be great with a mixed grill. I should have carafed it because it should keep 10 years in the cellar.
