Bodegas Enguera
Enguera in a Bubble Brut Nature Organic Cava Chardonnay Macabeo
4 weeks old calls for bubbles! Well for Mum & Dad anyway 😜
This week we cracked open this Bodegas Enguera ‘Enguera in a Bubble’ NV Cava from Valencia, Spain to celebrate 4 weeks of parenthood.
We received this sample bottle from Good Pair Days (thank you!!) and they also want to give you something! For any new signups using promo code “travellingcorkscrew” you’ll get $23 off your first order 🙌
This organic cava is made from 2 grape varieties:
🍇 Macabeo
🍇 Chardonnay
If you are looking for a wine region to visit when we can travel again, I’d highly recommend Cava country. It’s absolutely beautiful! Though I am a little biased after spending 6 weeks there in the Penedes back in 2011 💙
This super dry Cava is a golden lemon shade on the eye. Notes of crunchy apple, toasted citrus fruit and a hint of honeysuckle come through on the nose. While on the palate it’s smooth and creamy with a nice acidity tingle. Think apples, citrus and a hint of nuttiness. Yum!
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
