Let me just say. Calm flowery nose. Barely any oak. Light licorice with mellow spice. Soft tannins and argonese in mid pallet. Bing cherry finish! Likey!

Smoky. Flinty. Some herbs. Tannins. Plums. Vanilla. Cherry

Tastes of mustard

Good rioja. Nothing special, just a nice balanced weeknight wine.

Not too dry, slightly oaky

Decent lower end Rioja. Correct if uninspired. On the nose, cherries and leather. In the mouth, red fruit, dark oak, tobacco. Medium acid, medium-short finish. Great QPR, and would be a great BBQ wine. If I recall, it was about $10.
