Nov 23rd, 2020Dark red with purple edges. On the nose, red and black fruit aromas with spicy scents. The palate shows ripe cherries and plums with currant notes. The wine was balanced, finished surprisingly smooth. Nice value.

I think there are better crianzas out there. Typical dry tannins with the dark cherry/berry overtones. But there is a “harsh sour flavor” in the middle that I just cannot pinpoint. Once you get past that it is okay. Definitely better with food but wasn’t a big fan of this one.
