The reserve from Lesmos shows the most cake like American oak, and the sweetest, darkest fruit of their range. It drinks very nicely now and was a good partner for a paella stuffed pepper with an egg on top. Hurray for leftovers and Rioja! This wine was very easy to guzzle!

K&L direct import program delivers again. Traditional Rioja with a well integrated hint of oak. Developing nicely; great now with room to grow. One of the better values in red wine that I've had this year.

$20 for this $40 wine is a joke! I feel like I'm stealing. It feels so wrong but tastes so right. Pair with a gamey bolognese and buckle up. I recommend decanting or aerating. Can age 5 more years no sweat.
