Bright red nose with some nice cedary sharpness. Deeper on the palate, black cherries and a bit of stewed strawberries. Pleasant light tannic grab, pretty brisk acidity, very clean red pepper and cherry finish. I really like the mouthfeel and drinkability of this one--neither too fruity or too acidic.

For about $8 at many wine shops you can find this garnacha is a peppery marvel. It's the major note on the palate and it is aggressive. I rate this 8.5 because it is exactly what it needs to be, a quaffable wine at an extraordinarily cheap price.
