Ink, blackberry, licorice, olive, herbs. Classic grenache nose. The palate is well made with a strong acid drive, some nice blackberry on the sides, a tiny sweeter note too, a very round palate with licorice notes, some nice joyful tannins which give an additional layer of matter, and a rather long blackberry finish. This is easy going but far from the bigger brother we had a couple of weeks back.

Nov 7th, 2020The 2018 vintage was fruit-forward, but also paired well with a variety of foods, including Mexican and kale salad. Will definitely buy again. It would make a fun wine to bring to a dinner party where the menu is unknown. Also, I enjoyed it slightly chilled.
