Feb 22nd, 2020I really liked this. The granache is tamed nicely by the wood here. Not super firey, but there's definitely some more pepper from the syrah. We had it on the deck with chicken drumsticks and gnocchi.

Slightly fruity, sharp, fairly dry, delicious with Tara’s chicken & grilled veggies. Versatile. Also had with grilled eggplant parmigiana. With Chas at home 11.6.17. Very similar to Avenel Res blend., for almost 1/2 the price. $15 at Total Wine
