Not bad for a sixty year old wine. Took a few hours to settle in. Initially.flat on the finish, the wine resolved itself and was drinking beautifully after two hours. Old wines just taste songood; mellow, low alcohol, smooth, smooth, smooth with a light hint of tobacco and dark cherries.

May 14th, 2016Sharp, tannic, a little thin in body (even for 100% temp). Opens well, and holds up to strong food (sausage pizza). Would make a great every day bottle.
