Dark ruby in color with a brick rim.
Spicy on the nose with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, green peppers, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, long legs and a nice mouthfeel.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, vanilla, licorice, oak, leather, smoke, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium plus in finish with firm tannins and black pepper.
This 100% Tempranillo from Rioja, is elegant, balanced and enjoyable by itself. Spicy and tangy, and good paired with chicken dishes, Spanish tapas, or hard cheeses.
Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
14.5 % alcohol by volume.

Drank at Baigorri winery during ‘Baigorri menu tasting’ on 31st July 2018.
Dark red, purple rim. Tannins and mahogany aromas. Astringent on the mouth, softens immediately into long lasting wood and spices.
