A nice Spanish Garnacha from the house of Juan Gil. Showing black fruits with earth, light vegetables, pencil lead, peppercorn, chocolates, tobacco, graphite and spices. Dry on the palate and medium plus in body. Medium plus acidity with long legs. Nice finish with medium minus tannins, but I didn't have enough time to let it open up properly. Fruit forward and spicy. 15.5% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $19.
