The 2019 Reserva is primarily Tempranillo enriched with 3% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot from Ribera del Duero and was aged up to 26 months in new French oak. A dark garnet-red with a slight haze. The nose features chocolate, mocha, herbs, blackberry and plum over liqueur-like undertones. On the palate, it's indulgent but taut with reactive tannins and a concentrated structure that leads to an intense, vigorous, long-lasting finish. A tenacious Ribera wine. Nice juicy blue and black fruits, Asian spices, cinnamon, leathery, strong oak presence, violets. Very dry finish.

Absolutely amazing! Deep purple color. On the nose it smelled strongly like ink at first, then opened to a wide variety of fruity and floral smells; black fruit, licorice, black pepper, strawberry yogurt and hints of vanilla among others. Astringency was ok but rather bulky. Very long finish.

Love this wine. Just floats with big bold layered fruits , floral and held in check with acidic layer and velvety tannins. The 13 is better but it's and all time hit for me this producer.
