July 4th Friday was a total blowout! Killer bottles one after another. Here are just a few of the bottles we all enjoyed!
I really love older Spanish reds and this was doing quite well. Picked up zero American oak notes on the nose...it was more herbal with oregano and cherry pipe tobacco. However, the palate was very fresh with black cherries, old rhubarb tart and hint of coconut/American oak at the finish.

Big dark chocolate enveloping really big dark & blue fruits. The fruits fresh. Big leather and wood. Black tea. Acidity is just about right. This is one will require a little patience.
