My first Spanish Chardonnay.
The nose evokes an old-school Rioja blanco, with subtle oxidative hints of bruised apple and almond layered over ripe stone fruits. The palate, however, is fresher than the nose suggests, showing vibrant citrus tones and a bright yet rounded acidity.
Quite nice.
