80% Malbec, 20% Cab Sauv. I'm not a huge Malbec fan but this high elevation wine was fantastic.

"after harvesting from vines with deep roots in the rocky soil on the banks of the Mayuco river, Raul and his brother Alvaro chose to go organic and use no oak, letting this stallion of a wine rip with spice, pepper and ripe fruit. Mineral notes hit once on the palate followed by a long finish."

From a vineyard 2630 metres. Department of Molinos. Calchaqui Valley. Provence of Salta. Organic cultivation with irrigation system. Decant for several hours and serve at 15-18 degrees C. 2015 vintage. A big wine. 15.5% alcohol. Really terrific. A full rich rounded feel. A special wine.
