Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a light purple rim and medium intensity.

On the nose, blueberries, tart strawberries, currants, unripe plums, wood, licorice, light vegetables, coke, black pepper and spices.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, sour cherries, strawberries, raspberries, vegetables, oak, bitter herbs, spices and black pepper.

Medium finish with no tannins and tart cherries.

This Ripasso style red blend from Argentina is disappointing. Unbalanced with mild complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Does not resemble an Italian Ripasso at all.

Drinkable, but not by itself. Better with food, and needs an hour to open up. Probably too young and needs an additional year in the bottle to mature.

I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

A blend of 45% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Bonarda and 5% Cabernet Franc.

14% alcohol by volume.

$30.
