Tasted 02/10/2015

Powerful, warming and structured Malbec, needs decanting (~ 30 min).
Oak ageing: questionable (not mentioned, but sensed).

Deep garnet with dark purple rim.
Surprising first nose - smell of pizza:) Later pushed out by milk-baked red berries, marjoram, voilets, black pepper.
Palate of medium-plus body, velvety & round. Good acidity, live tannins. Flavors of chokeberry, prunes, black currant, cranberry.
Blackthorn, black currant and oaky accent on medium finish.
Pairing: veal wrapped in bacon under pepper sauce.
