Smokey tobacco on the palate mingle with red berries on the nose; a sharp touch of mesquite on the finish lingers nicely on the palate. The tannins are subtle and silky without sticking too long.

Bold, enhances spice in food. Lots of berry, a little oak, good acid and the slightest funk on the nose when first corked. Let it open up and enjoy.

Yum! Another hidden gem found at TJ’s. Didn’t think it was super with the first sip but after aeration and the second sip, YUM! Bold, thick, dry, fruit and tobacco notes but not a fruity wine. Good after taste and no bitterness. Will buy again!

Yum! Lush mouth feel, smooth, fruit forward. Would be awesome with brisket, but it was delicious with mac ‘n cheese, roasted acorn squash and Cuban avocados. Delighted to find a red wine that goes well w/ vegetables. 3/18/20, at the lake w C & CV

A bit leathery but balanced well with sweet grape. Light body.

I was surprised at how good it was for the price. I hope the newer vintages are just as tasty.
