Coffee toffee, mocha with raspberries. Smooth supple tannins, high acid is balanced by a touch of RS. Full bodied. Wish I had some lamb right now.

Nice malbec/cab/merlot blend- big and rich with as much depth as you'd expect from a quality napa cab/blend. Black plum, leather, blackberry and currant. Ripe mouth coating palate, cocoa and a bit of roasted red pepper. Finishes a little hot but the chocolatey tannins carry on.

Vibrant black cherry color with thin legs
Nose: cafe mocha with leather and blackberry. Laced with cinnamon sugar.

Palate: Full body, sweet coating of tannins with a nice balanced high acidity. Smooth and almost creamy at points likely from the merlot. Ripe raspberry with long lush chocolate. Paired this with a spicy dish of sausage so got a cracked pepper and long lasting finish.

Enjoyed this quite a bit. Costco special which is becoming my go too. Would like to try this alone and will likely climb into the 90+ range for me.

For $14 I'd call this luscious red a steal! Chocolate, ripe red fruit, and tobacco fill your mouth. The finish is lacking a bit, but overall a great value!

Heavy on the front, light on the back. Spicy black fruits. A bit of anise and cloves. Lacks some character in my opinion, but most people like that.

Dry, high acidity, medium tannins, raspberries. Alcohol burn is noticeable. Medium length and complexity.
