Dark ruby with violet rim. Black truffles and blackberry aromas. Good entrance of red currant flavors that soon migrate into darker fruit flavors. Interesting acidity intertwine with sweet, young tannins. Malbec dominates in this blend, no doubt, but merlot provides roundness while cabernet prolongs passage a little, and also helps for a fairly long finish. Like any other malbec, this seems to me more like a barbecue appropriate wine. A little off-dry in the third quarter. Black currant flavors. 85 pts.
