Cooked cherries and quince on the nose. Not dry, mild, a little tart. Root vegetable astringency bit a good out of blackberry to round it out. A nice surprise.

When you tatse young Rioja like this, you wonder why they so often cover this grape with oaky flavours...lovely sour cherry and crunchy red fruit character with gentle tannins and clean acidity.
