Dark ruby color. Aromas of ripe red berries, baking spices and cigar box. The palate is more tart dark fruit (currants and plums) focused with hints of tobacco, black tea and pepper spice. Long and earthy finish. Acidity is a bit raised and the tannins a bit sharp. Needs a decant. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!

Medium ruby color. Pleasant aromas and flavors of blueberry, cranberry, pomegranate black tea, vanilla with a slight note of green pepper and menthol on the prolonged finish. The fruit is quite ripe and the tannins are very smooth. Well balanced. Thank You for opening this wine, Ron B! Revisited in July 2024. Aging gracefully!
