Reserva Baloiro Bierzo Mencía

Undoubtly a great wine, velvetly, nice maturity, longlasting with very nice balance. Vintage 2009 with impresing aftertaste. Anyone knows the price?

Perfumed nose of red flowers, red berries and soft spice. Palate is full, rich, silky. Tannin is soft and sweet. Dark red raspberry, plum skin, mocha, some earthiness. A little rustic mouth feel on the finish. For $17 or so, this is nice!

Capa y densidad alta, en nariz fruta negra madura, madera, vainilla. En boca entrada con mucho peso, volumen, notas tostadas en boca y final muy potente y con las vainillas muy presentes... Quizás demasiada madera pero bien.

Capa alta y con precipitado. Nariz potente, madera, fruta madura, toques de vainilla. En boca es denso, amplio, se nota mucho la madera, vuelve la vainilla con un final persistente. Me gustó

Aun le quedan años de desarrollo. Aromas finos, café, caramelo.

2009 vintage. Fruity top notes but smooth as velvet. Great body. Not bad for $12
