Tasting menu at Bodega La Azul, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina: paired with course 4/5 - slow braised pork in clay oven, mashed sweet potatoes with dulce de leche, Malbec reduction and braising liquid OR rib eye grilled with halved peeled spiced potatoes and other veggies (carrots, peppers, pickles)

Drinking the 2013. Quite dry, the Cabernet shines through but well balanced. Dark fruit. It went well with wild rice and mushrooms.

Very tasty dark fruit, cassis and spice. Well integrated tannins. Medium acidity.
