Bottle opened on Sunday evening and finished tonight.
Lovely black currant, tar, meaty nose. It's very inviting. Unfortunately though, the palate doesn't live up to the expectations the nose raised. It's a bit monotonous, there is a good acid drive, but the tannins are very discreet, the fruit only shows well in the beginning and the finish is short and leaves almost a sour, acidic note towards the end that is borderline annoying. It's a miss.

A pleasant surprise. Glad to meet you! But that's about it. A pleasant and engaging nose and front notes. Impressed but couldn't sustain. Dark cherry notes and structure but mostly front palette.
