Beautiful bouquet on the cork, deep purple colour with ruby rim on the glass. You can smell the wood, but it's not so pronounced on the palate. Instead you get a full-bodied mouthful of red and purple ripe fruits. Stinging acidity makes up part of a wonderful afterglow. One of the better Malbecs I've experienced. Malbec-a-saurus Rex.

Superb, complex Malbec from Neuquén province of Argentina. With Javier and Chieko in Buenos Aires. Crazy inexpensive here (equivalent of US$5.50) but still toward the upper range of Malbecs.

Enjoyed at LAN Pablo Neruda Club at Santiago airport. We tried Pinot from same vineyard at Cavas Wine Lodge, Mendoza.
