Drank this wine on 10/17/2015. Great wine that goes best with a steak

Very disappointing- supermarket purchase in a pinch and what a mistake! I remember when Catena was a sure sign of quality but this was such a poor example of Cab that I dumped it out

Licorice on the nose. Very fruit forward and not much acidity. Lacks character and complexity, but easy to drink. Would have expected something different from high mountain vines. Not bad.
