Catena Zapata is a true Argentinian power house, delivering great wines also at the mid range. This DV Malbec is modern , pleasant, robust and delicious. Deep purple color, nose lightly dusty with smoky wood, ripe black fruits, red current, a touch of tobacco and spice. Medium - full body with firm tannins, good acidity and vibrant fruit, a classic Malbec with a nice dry finish. My score 88, drink to 2021

Rich, delicate, fully bodied Malbec with lush purple fruit. Loved opening this after sitting on it for years. Opened up nicely after an hour.
