Perhaps an odd choice for reintroduction after two weeks of Mexican lager, Sotol and tequila. Varietally correct, a little hot, and a little thin on the back end. With food, a serviceable palate refresher.

It has a really nice nose full of charred oak and very ripe fruit. Just the right amount of body even though it can veer dangerously close to thin at times. All fruit on the palate with no vegetal hints whatsoever. Like the aroma, the fruit is quite ripe and bright. Pair it with grilled beef and enjoy.
