Organic Sauvignon Blanc, portion air dried and on skins for 2 months. Not sure it's a success. Little bit too much sulphur /edge /funk for me.

It’s a #thetcwineclub kind of Thursday! This was in my latest WA wine inspired monthly box. Introducing the Blind Corner 2017 Blanc from the Margaret River.

Blind Corner are both organic and biodynamic and this wee bottle of white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and a hint of Chenin Blanc.

On the tasting notes from The Wine Gallery, it mentioned this wine pairs nicely with green vegetables including asparagus. So I whipped up an asparagus & veggie chicken pasta dish for dinner 👌

Now the wine..

It’s a very pale yellow-y green colour on the eye. On the nose it’s rather vegetal and floral with hints of candied lemon and an abundance of freshness. In the mouth it’s refreshing and zippy. A tasty’n’light wine that can fill my glass up anytime 😜

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine

Wine of the summer. Love everything about this. Like biting into a fresh peach.
